How to Boot into Recovery Mode for Your Android Phones?

The methods of booting Android devices are vary in different brands. Next, we are going to show you the different methods of booting Samsung, HTC, LG and Google Nexus phones.

Boot Samsung Galaxy into recovery mode

You should firstly turn off the Samsung Galaxy S8/S7/S6/S5 or other Samsung devices by holding down the Power key and choose "Power off" button. After turning off your Samsung device, you should then keep pressing and holding Power Key, Volume+ and Home button at the same time until you see the logo of Samsung. And then, you can use the Volume Keys to select the recovery mode option and press the Power key to confirm it.

Choose "Settings > Battery" options on your HTC phone and uncheck the FASTBOOT option. Turn off the HTC phone and wait a few while until it switches off completely. Then, press and hold the Volume- button and press the Power key. Release the Power key when you can see a new menu appears on the screen. Still holding the volume-, you will be able to enter the Bootloader mode click to the recovery option using the power button.

First of all, power off your LG phone. Press and hold the Power key and Volume- button at the same time until the logo of LG appears. Then, release the keys and immediately press the Power and Volume- button again until you see the Hard Reset menu appears. After the reset menu is displayed, press the power button to hard reset. At this point, your LG phone will be in recovery mode.

Boot Google Nexus into recovery mode

Turn off your Google phone first and press & hold the volume- and the power key until the word "Start" showing at the top of the screen. Press volume- twice to bring out the "Recovery" button and now you can press the Power button to start Recovery mode. When you see the Google logo, press and hold the Power key and the Volume+ key for about 3 seconds, then, release the Volume+ key but keep pressing the Power key. Highlight the options and select what you want by using the Volume keys and Power key.
