Link your Nexus 5 to the computer and launch the program. Then follow the steps below to enable USB debugging. But if you have already opened USB debugging, you can skip this step.
1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging".
