Tutorial on How to Enable USB Debugging on LG Device

Step 7. Provided that you receive a message asking you whether to "Allow USB debugging" after turning on the USB debugging, please hit "OK".

Select USB Configuration If Required

If your LG phone is running on Android 6.0 or above, you are required to select USB configuration as well. Here is how:

Step 1. Go to "Settings" > "Developer options".

Step 2. Scroll down the page to find out and tap on the option "Select USB Configuration".

Step 3. Choose the "MTP (Media Transfer Protocol)" option when the "Select USB Configuration" window pops up. If this option does not work, you can try other options: "RNDIS (USB Ethernet)", "Audio Source" or "MIDI".
