To begin with, please be sure the HTC One X/mini, HTC EVO, HTC Desire or other phone is connected to the computer with its USB cable. Then launch the program on your computer, you'll see an interface like below:
If your phone is not rooted and the USB debugging is also not opened, then the program will fail to detect your device. Thus, you need to root your phone and follow one of the below ways to enable USB debugging:
1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging"
