What Types of Files Does Assistant for Android Support?

1. What output formats are supported for Contacts? And how to export it?

You can export your contacts to HTML, VCF, BAK format. Below is the difference of these output formats:

- HTML format can only be viewed on your computer or other portable devices.

- VCF format can be viewed and imported into the outlook for further using.

- BAK format allows you to import the backup contacts to your Android phone again.

To reach it, you only need to click the Contacts icon on the left panel, and select your needed contacts, click Export button to export all your contacts to your computer as the format as you like.

2. What output formats are supported for SMS? And how to export it?

You can export SMS to HTML, TEXT, CSV, BAK format. You can view the messages with HTML, TEXT and CSV format, and you can back up your messages to BAK format, then you can import to your phone again.

To reach it, you can do it as below:

1) Connect your phone to your PC and then start our software.

2) Click the SMS icon on the left panel, and select your needed messages, click Export button to export all your text message to your computer.

3. Can I export the text messages with pictures?

No, it doesn't support exporting messages with pictures well currently. If the MMS only contains text, then our program can recognize that and export well.

4. Can I import contacts to my phone with your program?

Yes, you can do it as below:

- Connect your phone to the computer and launch the program. Make your phone be recognized by the tool.

- Click Contacts listed on the left panel, and click "Import" and select importing from VCF file or BAK file.

5. Can I import text messages to my phone with your program?

Yes, you can do it as below:

- Connect your phone to the computer and launch the program. Make your phone be recognized by the tool.

- Click SMS listed on the left panel, click "Import" menu to select importing from BAT file.

- If your Android version is above 4.4, then you can find a pop up message on your phone which let you set our program as the default app, please click Yes to continue.
